Our first ever race at Big River Ranch in Lexington, MO, was a big success. Robbie Maupin and crew were great hosts and showed our riders a great deal of hospitality. They have a fantastic facility and a number of our members went early and rode the trails. If you weren’t able to attend the race, be sure to check out Big River Ranch this fall when it cools off. It’s a great place to ride and spend a relaxing weekend with good friends and great horses.

We had a number of new riders on Sunday and we hope you all enjoyed it enough to join us at the next race. Hard to believe we have just 2 events left this year. Both are going to be packed full of extra activities, so plan to come and stay the weekend.  Make sure you reserve your campsite and stall early!

Congratulations to all of our riders who were able to improve their horsemanship and conquer yet another set of challenging courses. These hosts never cease to amaze us, putting their unique twist on course design (anyone else want to go out and get a saber now?)

Results and year-end points have been posted on the UHCA website.

Our winners were:

Buckaroo: Danali Cramer

Youth: Alexis Shin

Novice: Ryan Taylor

Classic: Marsha Coleman

Colt: Josh Rushing
