This privacy policy applies to this UHCA website and our services. UHCA has is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our members’ personal information. A member’s/rider’s name that has registered and competed in an event, the name of their horse, and their score are not considered private personal information and event results are made publicly available on this website.


When you apply for membership in the UHCA, we ask for information such as your name, date of birth, and contact information. We also collect the e-mail addresses and other personal information provided during from email inquiries.  Information we collect is stored on computer servers that we use to operate the website and in paper form as a backup.

The personal information we collect is used for billing, for identification and authentication, for the general operation and improvement of organization and events, and to respond to inquiries, and is not used, shared with or sold to other organizations, except: to our service providers, as required to operate the website and provide the services you've requested; for collection purposes; to law enforcement agencies, in emergencies, for internal security matters, or where required by court order or search warrant; or when we have your permission.

By default, member names and city and state of residence are shared with other members in the Member
Directory and members must be logged into view this information. Members have the ability to share more or less personal information with other members by editing their profile.
We may also record your computer's IP address with any financial transaction to help us identify fraudulent credit card use. We may share this information with the financial institution that issued the credit card with which an order was placed or with law enforcement authorities if we determine, or are notified, that the use of the credit card was fraudulent.

Your personal information is not used or disclosed by us for any other purpose.


A cookie is a small amount of data – typically stored as text file – that is placed on your computer or other device when you visit a particular website. Cookies do not store personal information about you, just information identifying your device. To access the members only section of the UHCA website, you need to enable cookies within your browser settings.

Like most standard websites, we use log files. We do not store credit card information in our database. Unless you have specifically opted-out of receiving electronic communications from UHCA, your personal information will be used to send you UHCA News and Updates, information from the event hosts, information about affiliated clinics or programs, and information or special offers from any of our official sponsors. Note that your personal information is not shared with third-party clinic organizers, event hosts, or sponsors.

You can change your communication preferences or unsubscribe from future mailings by clicking the preferences or unsubscribe links at the bottom of the email. If you would like to opt-out by other means, you can do so at any time by communicating your preferences to the email or phone number listed on the Contact Us page of the website.


Activity on any official UHCA social media network presence is governed by the privacy policy and terms and conditions of the network and is not within the control of UHCA. Advertisements presented to you by these websites are controlled by each network and advertisers whose ads are displayed when viewing the UHCA pages/account are in no way affiliated with or approved by UHCA.
