About Us
The association was formed in 2008 by a group of individuals who had participated in Craig Cameron’s Extreme Cowboy Race™ and had so much fun that they wanted to share the opportunity with others—that first year featured seven exciting competitions and multiple clinics to expose horse/riders to different obstacles. Initially, there were only four divisions. Today, eleven divisions offer riders of every level the opportunity to compete, demonstrate their skills, and strengthen their relationship with their horse.

The mission of the Ultimate Horsemens Challenge Association is to provide a forum to unite all breeds, disciplines, and skill levels in a competitive obstacle course setting that emphasizes and rewards good horsemanship while encouraging sportsmanship, camaraderie, and above all, fun and enjoyment with horses.
UHCA is a non-profit corporation registered in the State of Kansas and is governed by an elected Board of Directors.
