Join us for a evening of listening to Judges explain how they score riders.
The UHCA Board is excited to offer this opportunity to our riders and potential judges. If you have ever wondered what the judge is looking for at an obstacle, then this is where you want to be. Model judges will be walking attendees through a course and how to judge obstacles.
There is a $10.00 cost which will include dinner.
Time: 4:45 PM- 7:45 PM
This clinic is designed to educate current and potential judges on the UHCA Handbook and the mechanics/nuances of judging a UHCA Challenge Event. Attendees will observe demonstration riders negotiate a number of scenarios and will then hear our experienced panel of judges explain their scoring rationale. Extensive Q&A and discussion will allow participants to learn from other’s experiences.
AUDITORS WELCOME!
UHCA Members and fellow horsemen are invited to attend and take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn more about what judges look for and listen to our expert panel explain obstacle scoring. Auditors can follow along with their own scorecards, comparing their observations to our experts’ and are encouraged to participate in designated auditor Q&A sessions.
